    One thing I think is funny in both versions is the utterly superflous word balloon ("Run for your lives! Nothing can stop GOOM!"). Did Stan think people weren't going to understand what was going on? ("Wow, I wish I knew the name of this fantastic creature and whether or not he was dangerous. If does intend us harm I'm sure there must be some way of stopping him.")

  7. Really cool (and warm) colors! Goom is actually a very sweet guy. He just didn't get hugged enough as a child. All he really needs is a word of encouragement from his creator and father figure, Dr. Goom.
