Awesome cover from both parties. I was just going through my comic collection this weekend to find things to sell at an upcoming convention and came across my Seth Fisher collection. Such a talented artist. It's a shame he's no longer with us. I actually think about him every now and again and feel bad for his mother, wife and son.
I was at a comic convention over the weekend and found this issue and the fifth issue of this story in a quarter bin. I picked them both up because I recognized the cover putting this entry on the schedule. I've never owned a Seth Fisher comic and I agree with you Josh, he was a good one. I've got to find the 3 issues in between and read the story.
Yeah, I love Seth Fisher's work. Snow actually comes as a collected graphic novel as well. Thats actually the one I based my re-cover on. It just says Batman Snow on it. I couldn't find that one on the comic book listings though. Thanks for the kind comments guys!
Robert, I highly recommend them along with Green Lantern: Willworld and Fantastic Four/Iron Man: Big in Japan. I've also heard good things about Vertigo Pop! Tokyo, but have yet to read it.

ReplyDeleteWord the fuck up, as they say, Seth Fisher was a true one-off who transcended his influences to produce some bloody beautiful art.
