  1. Holy shit, that's great. Really clever, epitomizes to me what this project is all about.

  2. NICE! I'm surprised we haven't seen more of this (Action covers viewed from a different or distanced perspective).

  3. Awesome. Would only be improved if you moved the price and issue box down onto the billboard.

  4. I too think this is one of the best pieces yet & I disagree with my anonymous friend above- I think the price & issue indicia are perfectly placed, as they are where the exit number would be. Quite smart I think.

I think we will see more of this (I have one sketched out)...kind of like the earlier X-men #1 cover where the camera move changes the dynamic. This one is a great metaphor for world/personal tragedies. What is a horror to one person is just a far-away incident to the rest of us.

  6. One of the better alternative stylistic approaches I've seen since following on this site, verrrrrry cool.

  7. Ohhh, it's a highway sign. I thought it was a billboard (obviously). Good one all around, then.

  9. That reminds me of the spider-man atari game for some reason.

  10. Love the angle change. Flipping back and forth is a treat.

  11. Mucho gracias for all the kind words about my Spidey cover.

It means a great deal to me that Rob posted it & that all you good folks dug it so much because I am by no means a professional artist-
I am simply an art teacher with a drawing table & some toys nearby at which I sit sometimes & create little doodles.

If you are so inclined, you can find more of my ink-stained shenanigans via

    Thanks again for the encouragement
    (& don't stop!)...

    Enjoy the day-
    Robt

  12. Love the perspective. If I was driving over this bridge, hurrying home from work, I may not have even noticed the scene above. Beautifully drawn, great concept.
