Original cover by Curt Swan and George Klein; Pubblicazione Settimanale 1963 (cover reprinted from Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen; DC 1963). Giacomo Nanni's website is here.
Is this an Italian reprint of a Jimmy Olson comic? Or a weird knock-off where a cub reporter fights the Super-Devil with a flashlight? I like both ideas, actually...
the sign behind Jimmy says XX sec, it's for "XX Secolo". It's because "XX Secolo" it's the name of the daily newspaper of Jimmy and Clark in the italian edition. It's all fucked up...In Italy there's a newspaper called XIX secolo (nineteenth century). It's the fascist newspaper actually, so I think that the italian publisher at that time it was really politically alined.
Traced, or just shopped?

ReplyDeleteIt's not on the American original. That's funny. I didn't notice that before.
