Jeffrey Brown covers Uncanny X-men 142

Original cover by Terry Austin; Marvel 1981. Jeffrey Brown's website is here.

  1. Sorry, everyone. I realized about 2 hours late that I didn't have anything scheduled for today. Hopefully another Jeffrey Brown X-men will do.

  2. Man I would love to see Jeffrey Brown do a Marvel comic. I would even consider buying it!

  3. One of my all-time favorite covers (and stories). I clearly remember buying this in a bookstore in Montrose, Ca and hanging out with a group of pals for hours (skateboarding around). I had to wait until the evening too read it.
    It was killing me.
Geoff did a great job on has a lot of energy and life to it.
As a kid something seemed slightly off about it (upon closer look, I realized the Terry Austin drew this solo).

  4. what can't jeffrey brown do?

i'm still impressed with his ghosting on Tracker's CD art for craig thompson's blankets...

    mad versatile.

  5. damn... i was gonna do that one!

  6. Shouldn't the cover credit go to John Byrne (pencils) and Terry Austin (inks)?
