  2. One thing I enjoy about doing this blog is seeing non-North American comics I haven't heard of and seeing foreign editions of American material. Conan de Barbaar is better than the english title.

  3. this is a victory. I could easily imagine an animated Conan series in Mr. Van der Ougstraete's style at right. I'm willing it to happen!

  4. Oh yeah...I love the foreign titles.
    Die Spinne is Spidey, I think. I first went to Germany the week the Conan movie was released there and saw Conan de Barbaar (the barber?) posters everywhere.
    This was a comic that I wanted to cover...but now I won't because Dieter did an incredible job. I love it!
    It conveys the violence about to erupt with much more intensity that J.B.'s original.
