I agree with a lot of what you're saying here but it could do with more detail. They stayed away in droves.

Jaime's is the Clash while mine is more Archie's. That was my intention anyhow. Nobody can do it better than Jaime. Looking forward to the new issue this week at the San Diego Comic-Con (Love and Rockets #4).
