It's very well done, but I would have liked to have seen, rendered in the same style that was used, Moon Girl deflecting/destroying the missiles, and maybe more importantly, the bound and defenseless male figure (such a RARE image in super hero comics). The final image is lovely, but the dynamic action of the original cover is missing, for me. Still, it is a very nice piece of art.
VERY cool. Amazing work, I love the new interpretations of the characters. Just about everything in the new cover is spectacular. Though I do miss the rockets, but that's a minor (and silly) thing.
Wow, that is spectacularly cool. I really like the composition and the way you've recreated the clouds.
ReplyDeleteNice reinterpretation of the characters, the devil lady reminds me of Dr. Frank-N-Furter
That's purty.

ReplyDeleteThe Rahzzah draws the relaunched Moon Girl comic thru comixology. The costume updates are from his new series.
ReplyDeleteLook at that butt dimple on Satana! Love it.
You know, when I hear the name "Moon Girl" I have an image of a woman walking around with her butt exposed.
ReplyDeleteBut maybe that's just me.....
I never heard of Moon Girl before until now!
ReplyDeleteI love both covers. The original is awesome and the recreated cover is a beauty in its own right!
