Anybody know for sure who did the original. Was my guess right?
On Steve's recommendation, I picked up an issue of Silver at Comic Con. It's very strange. The Lone Ranger is always telling stories of Silver before they were a team. You have to assume that Silver told the Lone Ranger about his life over a fire with the special language they share.
My theory is Lone Ranger just had a faithfull horse and he liked to make up stories about him to entertain people and prove how great of a horse he had.
Wait...I always thought it was Hi-Ho Silver?!?
ReplyDeleteReally nice and entertaining, Steve. It looks like the Mountain Lion has fallen into a whole other sketchbook.
p.s.- I can still read your PIN number under that blacked out patch.
you said "PIN number"!
ReplyDeleteA full course meal with a Basquiat meets comic feel. Very engaging.
ReplyDeleteI love the pages! I swiped your jpeg, Mr. Weissman.

ReplyDeleteWow, I love the original's art. As usual, Steven, your taste is impeccable.
ReplyDeleteI've still yet to do one of these! Sooner or later, I hope to do one.
