Richard: Batman Jones appears n one of the numbers of "Batman R.I.P.", as an "expert on Batman". He's wearing a ski mask and he appears to be African-American. But indeed, a series treating his original story (a child saved by Batman who fights crime once he grows up) would be awesome for a Vertigo run.
