I applaud your use of pathos here: The blob is the epitome of human suffering and tragedy, striking out against the horrors that greet his existence daily.
My only criticism: Those don't look like mind-powers coming from Marvel Girl. They could be confused for something awfully stinky. But I suppose being dragged behind the Blob might cause a loss of "control" if you catch my meaning.
