It's pretty funny how you've summed up the scene into objects, it's completely mad.If the original wasn't next to it I would have no idea what it was about.Nice one :)
Easily one of the best recovers I've ever seen. Pure genius.
I really like this one. Great interpretation.
I wish I made this.
Anthony Vukojevich said:Ditto what Dieter said.It reminds me of the Golden Book Encyclopedia covers. Was that an influence?
It feels a bit...unfinished.And this has to be said...some of you are using the word 'genius' a bit too liberally.
I like the idea here alot, push it further, play around with it, do it faster with more intensity! you're definatly on to a good thing and you could not have found a better picture of a kitten doing a strut.
Thanks very much for all the comments! I wasn't aware of the Golden Book Encyclopedia covers Anthony but thanks for introducing them to me. They're right up my street. I do have a stack of 'Knowledge' magazines from the 60's though which are pretty grand.Of course it has to be said Ben is completely biased as we are indeed good buds. Also where we're from 'Genius' means something very different.
The collage is refreshing over a rerendering of this cover.Cheers!Steven G. WillisXOWComics.com
so soo goood!
That's the best one ever.
Top Stuff - love that cute kitty! Very scary...
A really awesome idea - it looks like evidence laid out on a table in a forensics lab. That said, I think it could do with a wee bit more polish. You could push the schematic aesthetics even further with the elements lined up and whatnot. Still, as I said, fantastic idea.
