Haha! Good take on this classic cover! I was actually reading this very issue only yesterday and thinking what a strange cover it was in retrospect! I love how you've interpreted it, and Spidey's nonchalant pose...
Every now and then there is a cover on here that once you've seen it, you can't look at the original in the same way again, and this is definitely one of those covers!

Love it!
ReplyDeleteMaking this a casual decision for Spider-man is hilarious!
This is one of the best... Excelsior!
ReplyDeletePS: I'm proud of myself for spelling "excelsior" correctly on my 1st attempt.
Great decision!
ReplyDeleteVery funny.
well done, sir.
ReplyDeleteExcellent cover! I agree with all the above.
ReplyDeleteI get it. It's ironic. You're underplaying the whole "seriousness of life and death" decisions thing. I get that.
ReplyDeleteIt is funny how in the original Spidey is pointing his ass right at the reader.
ReplyDeleteThis one is a perfect example of how awesome this project can be.
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Wow, we don't see this very often... where the whole meaning of the cover gets a change up. Well done!
ReplyDeleteHaha, sweet!
