With the help of commenters, the mystery of who drew the original Josie and the Pussycats cover last week has been solved. Does anybody know of a comic reference website like Comics.org or comicbookdb.com that is good with non American material? Maybe there is some Disney site of some sort? Romano Scarpa is deceased so I can't ask him like I did with Stan Goldberg.
I'd bet that the original cover is by Romano Scarpa. It looks like his work.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think it's him but I don't know for sure...

ReplyDeleteThe possibility exists that this cover may be the work of the comic drawer: Massimo De Vita.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, obviously.
:)
