Here's the original idea I had, which Rob rejected because he's a tyrant!http://tinyurl.com/36m5u8q
I saw a copy of Floyd at Heroes Con last weekend and the dealer wanted 100 bucks for it. He told me a story that I've heard before that Chris Ware buys every copy he can and destroys it. Don't know if that is true, but if it is, I would imagine the quest gets more and more expensive and he gets closer to his goal.
anthony vukojevich sez:Very nice, Jon...and to the tyrant:I've heard that story about artists and authors buying up and destroying their old work so many times....I wonder if anyone has actually done it?
Ware even made quite a trade offer: "I will send a letter of thanks and a drawing to anyone who mails me their copy of the aforementioned "early work," (Floyd Farland) as I'd like to eradicate any trace of its ever existing, if possible." Not a bad deal. -Mr. Phil
It reminds me of the image they used on the Drew Carey Show.
Oh come on, that's the best thing Ware ever did.

I've met Mr Ware at a convention last week, should have had my copy of FF with me... But didn't want to annoy him...Btw love this blog
