  1. Man, TIGRA! First casualty of Civil War. Can you believe she was a semi-significant character for quite a while? I mean, she was a member of the West Coast Avengers for a long, long time. Back in the days when a bikini could be viewed as a legitimate super-heroine costume.

    Wow.

    Tigra. Freaking Tigra.

  2. I love Kerry's TIGRA obsession...and who can blame him?
This is another clever and awesome cover...I just need to see you cover the Tigra vs. Super-Skrull issue or the issue or Giant-Size Werewolf in which she debuted.

Rob, Tigra is better than ever (she recently battled the RULK (RED HULK)...but I have some bad news about Black Goliath...he didn't quite....well, it's better if you just not know what happened to him.

  3. I just bought this issue of Marvel Chillers last weekend (from Monkey's Retreat. For a quarter!) with a mind to submit a version here.

This is way better what I'd have done anyway. The cover being sliced is awesome and hilarious.

  5. Oh yeah... she's not dead. I was confused about the way the Hood brutalized her as a killing. Sorry!!!

  6. Anthony, I'd love to see you do Tigra vs. Super-Skrull! You've done some of my favorite covers here. I can't carry the Tigra burden alone...

  7. It wouldn't take much to get Anthony to do that cover. I've considered it myself. It's one of my favorite 70's Kirby covers. Somebody will do it soon, I'm sure.

  8. That's clever... Plus Tigra and Kraven in the one book! That's instantly become a match up I want to read.

  10. Robert, you have also done some of my favorite covers. (Just thought I'd throw that in there with all this Tigra talk going on.)

  11. Okay...I've started on a Tigra cover. It's a very obsure one.
